Your Fishing Trip
Book in an an excellent day's fishing for you and your family with Moeraki Fishing Charters.
We usually leave the wharf between 6am-8am (tide dependent) and the return time is 11am-1pm - tide, catch and weather dependent.
Moeraki Fishing Charters cater for between one and twelve fishers at a time, and your total group size can be up to fifteen people. We require a minimum of 5 people but this can be made up of different groups, so even if it's just you - give us a call!
We're the perfect operator for your family trip, social outing, or even your next office party.
All gear is provided, along with a tasty lunch. We've got a deckhand on board to help you out, and we fillet your fish for you at the end of the day. We mostly catch blue cod and sea perch, although it's always great to see what other fish turn up on the day!
It is $190 per person for a weekday and $210 per person in the weekend.
To book the whole boat for a weekday is $2,700 and in the weekend it is $3,000 per day.
For groups 10 and larger, payment is required prior to that date of your charter. A full refund we be made if we have to cancel due to bad weather.

We're happy to vary the length of the trip to accommodate your needs, whether it's to match the lower stamina levels of the littlies, or for group members who are nervous about a whole day on the water.
This is a great way for beginners to have a go at fishing, in a safe environment, with expert guidance.
Experienced fishers will get the thrill of a great day out, with all the details taken care of - you can just kick back and focus on the fishing.

A fishing trip is a great family activity. You'll get some great memories and cool photos to take home, along with your catch! We love the 'take a kid fishing' initiative, and are passionate about teaching people of all ages how to fish, and get the most enjoyment out of their day.
